Volunteers needed to sew blankets to give to ill children while in the Hospital

Blankets  
Everyone loves a soft cuddly blanket to snuggle up in when you are ill and feeling blue.   Kids Beating Cancer wants every child with cancer or receiving a marrow transplant to have a new blanket while receiving treatment in the hospital.   We need your help to make this possible.   Do you belong to a group of women who like to sew, a prayer group, women's circle, employee group, or social club?  Or can you get together a group of friends and sew, sip tea, and make simple blankets for the children to wrap themselves in while receiving chemotherapy?  If you would like to assist KBC with this project please call 407-894-2888 or 866-800-HOPE or email contact@kidsbeatingcancer.com

Children's Quilt
Volunteers are also needed to sew squares of fabric together that the children have donated from a favorite piece of clothing, into one huge quilt representing the children we serve and children everywhere, facing life-threatening diseases.
