One child lost is one child too many.
Kids Beating Cancer was created in 1992 by Margaret Voight Guedes in memory of her son John Voight, who lost his battle with leukemia earlier that year.
Kids Beating Cancer has tested over 34,000 potential donors, resulting in 31 marrow and blood stem collection requests last year alone for patients that would die without a transplant.
Accomplishments since 1992

Our Mission
Kids Beating Cancer’s mission is to increase access to treatment for children with cancer and life threatening diseases in need of a bone marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant by funding the cost to identify compatible donors, funding uninsured medical expenses and to provide support for families as they face the challenging journey towards a cure.
We need your support
The cost and impact on families facing pediatric cancer is immense. Kids Beating Cancer provides essential support to these families, and YOU can help!
It’s quick and easy to become part of the bone marrow registry. The greater number of donors in the national registry, the better the odds for all. Minority donors are in particularly short supply.
