ChildLife, and Nursing Majors: Working with cancer, leukemia, and related disease children doing arts and
crafts and themed activities.
2.
Marketing, Public Relations, & Journalism Majors: writing, faxing, and emailing PSA's and media alerts,
writing a newsletter, flyers, writing stories on families, and web maintenance. (Include any
previously written work with your resume)
3. Communications, Marketing, & Public Relations
Majors: Marrow Donor Recruitment Program: Public speaking and presentations on
the marrow donor recruitment process and need at community events, churches,
organizational meetings, companies, and schools. Working with the media,
exposure to radio, print, and TV interviews. Scheduling and facilitating the recruitment drives
in the community.
