University coaches and players, professional sports legends, and nationally
known celebrities are teaming up with A Gift of Hope for medically fragile
and cancer children. A GIFT OF HOPE‘s mission is to increase the quality of life and provide the medical interventions necessary to sustain life for children not covered by insurance, including children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases, and those whose survival depends on finding a compatible marrow or stem cell donor. A GIFT OF HOPE’s services include advanced nursing, rehab therapies, medical equipment and supplies, pharmaceuticals, lab testing necessary to identify marrow donors, and basic necessities. A GIFT OF HOPE steps to in to fund the medical services not covered for the 'forgotten children,' allowing each precious child to receive the best medical care possible, reach their full potential, and enjoy the simple pleasures of 'just being a kid.'
